Bone In Your Backyard Turns 5
February 2010
This month our local show on Z95 turns five years old! It’s amazing how time flies. I can still
remember that first show we did back in February of '05. We had Aftermath as our special guest.
The first song we ever played on the show was “Exorcism” by Inkognito. Over the five years we have
interviewed and played countless bands from Southeast Missouri, Northeast Arkansas, Memphis,
St. Louis, and beyond.
This month we’re celebrating our fifth anniversary with a two hour special of the show on Saturday Feb 13th at 6p.m. During our two hour special we’ll be playing acoustic songs from bands that have graced the Z95 Studios over the past five years.
We have played and interviewed a lot of talented bands over the past five years. I’m very excited to keep Bone In Your Backyard rolling into a new decade. There are still more bands to play and interview and hear from….Could you be next?
What do you think of Bone In Your Backyard? What about the show do you like? What would you like seen changed? I would love to hear your comments. Email me and let me know. chrisb@riverradio.net

When I was in Inkognito, Bonestock was always the highlight of the year. We had a great time both years (we played 1 & 2). Bonestock 2 was our very last gig. We actually cancelled a show after that which was out of state because we wanted to have our last show in front of our friends here in Missouri. Thanks & kudos to Z95 & crew for putting together the best music festival in Southeast Missouri for FIVE straight years.
